Mid Canterbury RDA Profile

Riding For The Disabled began in New Zealand in 1972. The New Zealand Riding for the Disabled Association is a coalition of independently managed and financed voluntary groups which are geographically spread throughtout the country. RDA groups vary in size, resources and facilities but our objectives remain the same:

"Confidence, independence and well being for people with disabilities
through therapeutic horse riding and horse care."

The Mid-Canterbury Group Riding For The Disabled Association Inc is a non-profit organization.  We do not receive funding from the government and rely on the support and generosity of our local community to continue to provide quality services to our riders.
